Theoretical Memoing Rules [GLASER78, pp. 89 - 91)

  1. Keep memos and data separate.
  2. Always interrupt coding for memoing.
  3. Starting to write on a code.
  4. Do not afraid to modify memos.
  5. Keep the list of the emergent codes handy.
  6. Compare memos: colaps or dimensionalize the codes and memos.
  7. Do not elaborate logically.
  8. Run memos open.
  9. Memo about concepts, not people.
  10. Write one idea at a time (Are memos NMI?).
  11. Indicate Saturation.
  12. Always flexible.
